On 27/06/2024 my 100th contact for this award was confirmed by DK9JC who was operating portable in Liechtenstein. There are 340 separately designated countries and territories (“entities”) in the world so I will continue to chase as many of the outstanding 240 as possible.
As of now my 100 contacts qualify for the DXCC Certificate; an application with evidence of the contacts has been sent to the ARRL (American Radio Relay League). Sadly, the ARRL suffered a cyber-attack a while back; although all the DXCC data is intact they are unable to print certificates. It took me a long time to reach 100 so I’m pleased the data wasn’t lost and I’m patiently waiting for the mailman.
Update 24/08/2024
Well it seems the postman is not on his way, the ARRL are still tackling some of the chaos caused by the cyber-attack. I have no choice but wait as they seem to be dragging their heels.

My certificate is here at last, it’s in the photo gallery but it deserves another spot here. I claimed the DXCC with exactly 100 qualifying locations but I have a handful more since.
